Ocean’s Whispers
An Angel called Ocean sings and skips and twirls,
Her wings are soft like feather down and her hair is full of curls.
So, if you feel like dancing for no reason that is clear,
You’ll know she’s on her way or is standing very near;
Standing there beside you whispering in your ear,
Or singing a sweet Angel song that only you can hear;
Or sounding like a wind chime or the murmur of a shell
To remind you there are Angels near and to tell you: “All is well”.
Then you wonder why you’re happy, you wonder what it means,
And find in answer to your thoughts a jar of jellybeans:
Beans of every colour – now you’re wondering what to say,
But there’s no need, an Angel’s near and everything’s okay.
Then morning comes and you’re awake – was it just a dream?
And find in answer to your thoughts a jar of jellybeans;
A swirl of white rose petals scattered on the floor;
A tiny silver Angel star above your bedroom door;
A scrapbook on the window sill filled with precious things;
Angel dust and feathers from an Angel wing.
And suddenly you’re smiling, and the reason is quite clear:
An Angel with an Angel voice is whispering in your ear.
