Peregrine’s Boat
An Angel called Peregrine has a magical boat
That glides through the sea and through the sky floats.
The boats name is ‘Glimmer’, its rudder is gold,
With a sail like a wing – it’s a thousand years old.
Not old by Angel standards, but old enough,
Like the wooden suitcase where he keeps all his stuff:
Galoshes and raincoats and cooking utensils;
Maps for his travels, a compass and pencils.
Peregrine’s telescope makes everything clear –
Faraway dreams are suddenly near.
And so, he will tell you: “There’s always a way,
And together we’ll find it – you won’t go astray.
Whatever you need is right here, so just ask
To help you to finish the trickiest task.
Because nothing’s impossible – let’s give it a try;
Just believe – and together we’ll reach for the sky.
Start where you are, begin right away:
Tomorrow is coming and will soon be today.
So smile and be happy, and know that it’s true
That many good things are coming to YOU”.
